Sorted on points, then goal difference, then goals scored. Capped at 34 games per club. Nobody has played yet, so the table is alphabetical until you add results.
Run a prediction leagueHow the predictor works
A Bundesliga table predictor is just arithmetic you'd rather not do by hand: three points a win, one a draw, then sort. The work is keeping goal difference and every club's remaining fixtures straight while you argue about it. That's what this does - over a 34-game season, not the 38 an English or Spanish calculator assumes.
- Start from the real table. The predictor loads this season's 18 Bundesliga clubs with their current record already filled in, so you're editing real results rather than a blank sheet.
- Play out the remaining fixtures. Use +W, +D and +L to add results one game at a time, or type straight into a club's wins, draws, losses and goals. Each club is capped at 34 games and shows how many it has left.
- Watch the table re-sort. Points and goal difference recalculate on every edit and the table re-orders instantly - points first, then goal difference, then goals scored.
- Check who lands where. The Meister, UCL, UEL and relegation places are marked as you go, so you can see exactly what your club needs. Reset to live results whenever you want to start again.
No sign-up, nothing saved, nothing to install. Refresh and you're back to the real table.
How the Bundesliga table is decided
Points first, then goal difference, then goals scored.
Every club plays 34 games - all 17 rivals home and away. A win is three points, a draw is one, a defeat is nothing. Level on points and the Bundesliga separates clubs on goal difference, then goals scored.
What each position is worth
- 1st - the Meisterschale.
- Top 4 - Champions League league phase.
- 5th - has recently carried a Europa League place, though European allocation moves with DFB-Pokal winners and UEFA coefficients.
- 16th - plays a two-legged relegation play-off against the third-placed club in 2. Bundesliga.
- 17th and 18th - relegated to 2. Bundesliga automatically.
The predictor marks those zones as the table re-sorts, so you can see the moment your club crosses one.
FAQ
How does the Bundesliga table predictor work?+
It loads this season's eighteen clubs with their current record, then lets you edit any club's wins, draws, losses and goals. Points are recalculated as three for a win and one for a draw, and the table re-sorts instantly on points, goal difference and goals scored.
How many games does each Bundesliga club play?+
Thirty-four. The Bundesliga runs eighteen clubs rather than twenty, so each plays the other seventeen home and away - four games fewer than the Premier League, LaLiga or Serie A. The predictor caps every club at 34 and shows a games-remaining count, so a table cannot drift into an impossible season.
How is the Bundesliga table decided?+
Points first - three for a win, one for a draw. Level on points and goal difference splits them, then goals scored. Head-to-head only comes into it after those, which is the opposite of how LaLiga and Serie A do it, and it means this predictor's ordering matches the real Bundesliga table.
How does Bundesliga relegation work?+
Seventeenth and eighteenth are relegated to 2. Bundesliga automatically. Sixteenth is not safe either - that club plays a two-legged relegation play-off against the third-placed side in 2. Bundesliga, with the winner taking the Bundesliga place. The predictor marks both the automatic drop and the play-off spot as the table re-sorts.
How many points does it take to stay up or reach Europe?+
Over a 34-game season the survival mark tends to sit lower than in a 38-game league - the low-to-mid thirties is the usual rule of thumb, and a Champions League place has often gone in the low sixties. Useful benchmarks to aim a table at, not guarantees.
Is it free?+
Completely, with no login. If you want your predictions to score themselves against real results, you can run a free Bundesliga prediction league on Trofeo.live instead.
