A La Liga prediction league runs the length of the season: 38 matchdays, ten fixtures a round, and a table that settles every argument.
Each matchday, players predict every fixture - a straight home win / draw / away win, or the exact scoreline if your group wants the harder version. Correct results score points; nail the scoreline and you score more. Spanish football gives you plenty to be wrong about: a late kick-off in Vigo on a Monday night has ended more than one perfect week.
Scoring is yours to set: flat points per correct result, a bonus for exact scores, and you can weight the run-in so the title race matters most. We auto-grade every match as results come in - nobody's updating a spreadsheet after the Sunday night game.
Draws matter more than people expect. Roughly a quarter of league matches finish level, so a group that only ever picks a winner leaves points on the table all season.
