We built a scoreboard for talking trash.
Trofeo.live turns "I totally called that" into receipts. Make your picks, climb a live leaderboard, and let the standings settle every argument your group chat refuses to drop.
No betting. No bookies. Just public humiliation with a scoreboard.
How it started
It began as an office argument
Like every great rivalry, this one started over nothing. A tournament was on, the office was loud, and everyone was suddenly a world-class analyst. The problem? No way to keep score. Bold predictions evaporated the second they were wrong, and the loudest person somehow kept winning every argument by simply remembering things differently.
We wanted a clean way to settle it - make everyone commit their picks before the games, then let the results do the talking. No spreadsheet warlord. No collecting cash. No "well, technically I meant the other team." Just predictions on record and a leaderboard that never forgets.
Turns out we already had a head start: at Common Ninja we'd been building brackets and tournament tools for years. So we took what we knew, pointed it at the only thing that really matters - bragging rights - and Trofeo.live was born.
The games were always fun. We just added a permanent record of who was wrong.
What we actually believe
A few principles we refuse to negotiate on, mostly because we've lived the alternative.
Bragging rights, not betting
No odds, no deposits, no payouts, no casino energy in a cheap hoodie. The only thing on the line is your reputation - which, frankly, is worth more.
Live, or it didn't happen
Scores and standings update as the games do. The drama should hit in real time, not in a results email three days later.
Public by design
Predictions go on record before the action starts. A win means nothing if nobody saw you call it - and a loss is so much funnier in front of an audience.
Free to start, easy to run
Spin up a Pool in minutes. No rules buried in a Google Doc, no chasing people for money, no Dave from Finance becoming Lord of the Spreadsheet.
Come settle it.
Got opinions? Put them on record.
Create a free Pool, invite your friends or coworkers, and let the leaderboard expose the frauds, crown the prophets, and ruin at least one lunch break.
Free to start. Fun to win. Character-building to lose.
